Pool Insulation & Coating

Scope: Addressing water leaks, peeling paint, and discoloration in a 1,200 m² pool at a very large, ultra-luxury 5-star hotel in Marmaris; renewal of insulation and application of new paint.

Challenge: Water leaks, peeling paint, and discoloration of the terrazzo floor were detected in the pool. Since the work had to be carried out during the peak season, all work was conducted at night to minimize disruption to guest comfort. Furthermore, due to it being mid-season, reopening the pool as quickly as possible was critical.

Solution: The Neg Kimya team applied a new insulation system to the existing 1,200 m² terrazzo floor and completed the pool paint coating. The work was carried out at night, without disrupting hotel operations or guest schedules, and was planned for rapid reopening during the season.

Result: The 1,200 m² pool was reopened in 4 days, with night work and without interrupting guest services. Water leaks, peeling paint, and discoloration were resolved.
